• Little Snoring Commemorates 100 years since the Armistice

    Little Snoring is commemorating 100 years since the Armistice on 11 November.

    There will be a short service of Remembrance on Sunday 11 November at 12.30 pm by the War Memorial in St Andrew’s churchyard. All welcome.

    On Monday 12 November, Cuppa in the Community – 2.30 -4 pm will be raising funds for the Poppy Appeal. Everyone is welcome to join us for a cup of tea /coffee, cake and chat.

    The Chair of the Parish Council with friends has made a cascade of poppies to commemorate those who fought and gave their lives for the country. The Cascade has been put up at the front of Little Snoring Primary School.

    that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
    If by 24 September, 2018 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the
    said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
    If an election is called, it will take place not later than 26 November, 2018.

    Shibori (tie dye)

    Please note change of date to FRIDAY 3 AUGUST 2018 at 1.30 to 4.30 pm in the Community Room.

    If you would like to take part please contact Margaret Kennedy on 822157.

    Most items will be provided but it would be helpful if you could bring: pencil, ruler, needle and thread and elastic bands (if you have any), string, rope, scissors, any t-shirt, shirt or fabric that you would like to dye.

    The overall cost of the session is £10 each.

    Cuppa in the Community

    Come and join us for afternoon tea / coffee, cake and a chat in the Community Room on the Playing Field.

    Cuppa in the Community usually takes place on the 2nd Monday of the month between 2.30 pm and 4 pm.

    We may be able to help with transport if needed.

    Please contact Margaret Kennedy on 01328 822157 to check the date, confirm that you are coming (spaces are limited) and if you require transport.

    Cost £2 (there is often a raffle on the day as well)

    We are currently raising funds to cover the cost of refurbishing the kitchen area.
