Little Snoring (NTRO9310) Notice

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water burst water main repairs the use by vehicles (of any class) of The Street from 250m north of its junction with A148 Holt Road for 50m northwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Little Snoring will be temporarily prohibited.

Alternative route is via: The Street, Great Snoring Road, Norwich Road, Fakenham Road, Thorpland, Holt Road (Great Snoring, Fakenham, Little Snoring, Kettlestone).

The closure/restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road or both.

The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 17^th to 21^st February 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed/restricted until the 9^th March 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 9^th March 2025 without further notice.

If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.

A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the restriction/ closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

Alternative route is via: Great Snoring Road, Norwich Road, Fakenham Road, Thorpland Road, Holt Road, The Street (Great Snoring, Fakenham, Little Snoring, Kettlestone).

The closure is anticipated to take place from 12th to 18th February 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed until the 4th March 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

Alternative route is via: Norwich Road, The Street, Walsingham Road, Snoring Road, Holt Road, Common Place, High Street, Fakenham Road, Ford Road, Barsham Road, Fakenham Bypass, Great Snoring Road (Great Snoring, Fakenham, Little Snoring, Kettlestone, Barsham, Walsingham, Sculthorpe).

The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road or both.

The closure is anticipated to take place from 3rd to 7th February 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed until the 23rd February 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 23rd February 2025 without further notice.

If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 4th to 6th March 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 3 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: The Street, Walsingham Road, Snoring Road, Thursford Road, North Lane, Hindringham Road, A148 Fakenham Road/ Holt Road, Great Snoring Road, Norwich Road (Little Snoring, Kettlestone, Great Snoring, Hindringham, Thursford, Walsingham).

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 and 06:00 from 5th to 7th May 2023; 07:30 and 18:00 from 13th to 14th May 2023; and 19:00 and 06:00 from 19th to 20th May 2023, only while signs indicating the closure are in place, for the duration of the works expected to be about 16 days within the period.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to emergency tree works the use by vehicles of the C317 Snoring Road from 650m north of its junction with Barsham Road for 250m northwards in the PARISH OF GREAT SNORING will be temporarily prohibited from 2^nd to 3^rd February 2023 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 2 days within the period.

This Notice has a maximum duration of 21 days. Where exceptional circumstances are encountered during the performance of the works specified in this Notice, the operational period of this Notice may become extended by issuing an Order or further Notice to allow completion of the works for a maximum duration of 18 months.
